Memories In The Garden

Contest entry for Made with colored pencils originally, but my scanner didn't feel like cooperating and when I tried to take a picture of it, THAT didn't work either *head/desk*. So I fixed it up all I could in PS and added a facet filter to smooth the lines some. It looks so much better on paper though T-T *sad face* I hate my scanner.

Anyway, the theme was pick a character and create a childhood memory you'd liked to have seen with them. I picked Crow 'cause he's my favorite, and he just looks adorable as a kid, I wanted to squeeze him in the flashback eps.

Story behind the image: Little Crowley is out taking care of his Grandfather's garden one day. He had just finished doing so with one particularly affectionate man-eater (lol oxymoron) and tried to continue when it grabbed him by the ropes of his apron and hauled him right off the ground to keep him from leaving because it wanted more attention. Hopefully it will let him down easy and not just drop him, poor guy. In his surprise he didn't think to let go of the watering can either, which is almost as big as he is xD
